Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19th Oct., 2026

This policy explains what information spboscores.com (“we”, “the site”) collects when you visit, and how it is used. The site is run by Fidelity ICT Academy, based in Abuja, Nigeria. If you have any questions, contact us through our contact page.

Information we collect

  • When you browse: like most websites, our hosting server keeps standard logs, including your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and the time of your visit. We use these only to keep the site secure and working properly.
  • When you contact us: if you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address and message. We use them only to reply to you and do not add you to any mailing list.
  • When you comment: if you leave a comment, we store your name, email address, comment and IP address to help prevent spam. Your email address is never shown publicly.

We do not ask for or knowingly collect sensitive personal information.

Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. The site itself uses very few:

  • If you leave a comment, you can choose to save your name and email in a cookie so you don’t have to type them again. It lasts one year.
  • Our live scores and filters work without cookies.

Advertising: Google AdSense
We use Google AdSense to show advertisements, which helps keep the site free.

Visitors from the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for their consent before personalised ads are shown.

Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are popular. It collects information such as pages visited and device type through cookies.

Football data and embedded content
Scores, fixtures and statistics come from a third-party data provider. Our server requests this data directly, so your personal information is never shared with the provider. Articles may sometimes include embedded content such as videos or social media posts. These behave as if you had visited the other website, which may collect data about you under its own privacy policy.

Who we share your information with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. Information is shared only with the services that run the site: our web host (Hostinger), Google (for advertising and analytics]), and an automated spam-checking service for comments. We may also disclose information if required by law.

How long we keep it
Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry. Comments and their details are kept while the comment is published. Server logs are deleted automatically after a short period.

Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us through our contact page. We will reply within 30 days. Nigerian users have these rights under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, and visitors from other countries may have similar rights under their own laws.

Children
This site is meant for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
